Dr. Haugabrook is a highly accomplished Internal Medicine physician with 30 years of experience in both outpatient and hospital settings. 

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-Med. She then completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine, graduating with honors and being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, which recognized her academic excellence. 

Dr. Haugabrook completed her Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis and later returned to Georgia to practice Med-Peds in the outpatient setting. After several years, she transitioned to hospitalist medicine, where she spent the last 18 years providing inpatient care. 

Currently, Dr. Haugabrook is returning to outpatient/clinic medicine, with a focus on preventive care. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve long-term health through education, lifestyle changes, and proactive measures to prevent chronic diseases. 

She currently serves as a Physician with the Piedmont Clinical Integration Network.

Bernard A. Royal, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. 

His healthcare career began in 2011 as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and through continued dedication to the nursing profession, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2015 and his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2022. Bernard graduated with honors from Purdue University and was inducted into the National Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence.

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Bernard is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier lives through education, prevention, and personalized care. He believes strongly in empowering both patients and families to take an active role in their healthcare journey, guided by his personal motto: “Health is wealth, and if you know better, you do better.”

Bernard provides comprehensive primary care services with a strong focus on preventive medicine, wellness, and patient education. He is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to prioritize their long-term health. His dedication to advancing patient care is reflected in his participation in the 2024 inaugural cohort of the Dawn K. Smith PrEP Fellowship with the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Bernard enjoys serving in his church community, singing on the worship team, staying active through fitness, and spending time at the beach. His passion for healthcare and community engagement continues to inspire those around him and positively impact the lives of his patients.
