Medical Director

Family Medicine Specialist 

Dr. Burton leads our practice with a patient-first approach, focusing on comprehensive and compassionate care. With over 35 years of experience in family medicine, he is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our community. Dr. Burton graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP), holding additional expertise in Pain Management and Opioid Addiction. Before joining Family Practice of Conyers, Dr. Burton was affiliated with WellStar Douglas Hospital and Tanner Health Systems. He is the owner of Total Care Family Medicine and currently serves as a Physician with the Piedmont Clinical Integration Network. A proud Veteran, Dr. Burton served as a Medical Officer in the United States Navy.

Internal Medicine Specialist

Dr. Haugabrook is a highly accomplished Internal Medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in both outpatient and hospital settings. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-Med and went on to complete medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, recognizing her academic excellence. Dr. Haugabrook completed her Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis and later returned to Georgia to practice Med-Peds in the outpatient setting. After several years, she transitioned to hospitalist medicine, where she spent the last 18 years providing inpatient care. Currently, Dr. Haugabrook is returning to outpatient/clinic medicine, with a focus on preventive care. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve long-term health through education, lifestyle changes, and proactive measures to prevent chronic diseases. She currently serves as a Physician with the Piedmont Clinical Integration Network.

Associate Medical Director

Family Medicine Specialist 

Dr. Griffin is a distinguished physician in Conyers, Georgia, with a career spanning over 35 years. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in 1986. Following medical school, Dr. Griffin achieved the position of chief resident and served on the teaching faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He further enhanced his expertise through fellowships in faculty development at Morehouse School of Medicine and a geriatric academic fellowship at East Carolina School of Medicine. Prior to stepping back from direct bedside patient care, Dr. Griffin has been a cornerstone in the medical communities of Rockdale and DeKalb Counties for over 25 years.

Medical Assistant

As a Medical assistant, assists physician, nurse practitioner, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties. Providing great customer service to all our patients. Most important, the patient is here for us to help and administer quality, caring, and loving healthcare.

Medical Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a Medical administrative assistant to organize our medical facility’s functions. You will support day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high quality customer service for our patients. As a Medical administrative assistant, you will perform various tasks on a daily basis. So, you should be able to multitask and prioritize. We also expect you to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are able to combine exceptional communication skills with an ability to perform ‘behind the scenes’ tasks, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our medical facility’s smooth operation by accurately completing administrative tasks in a timely manner.
